“Phone. Bond Phone.” O2 Reveals James Bond Edition Sony Experia T Smartphone.

As the iPhone 5 hype dies down, we came across an even cooler, more high-tech mobile device- The Bond Phone. In honor of the upcoming James Bond film Skyfall, British carrier O2 will be stocking a limited edition of this Sony Experia T smartphone. Loaded with exclusive James Bond content, the phone will include the James Bond theme song as a ringtone option, as well as Skyfall images, themes and screensavers. Only catch? The phone is exclusive to O2 in the United Kingdom.

The sleek phone will remain the same externally and will include features such as a 4.6-inch HD display,  a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of shooting 1080p video. Unlike the brand spanking new iPhone 5, the Sony Experia phone WILL have NFC connectivity. The phone will also ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed. Not the tasty sweet treat, but instead the latest version of the Android platform for phones, tablets, etc. The Ice Cream Sandwich adds powerful new ways of communicating and sharing through easy multitasking, rich notifications, customizable home screens, resizable widgets, and deep interactivity.

By the end of September, The Bond Phone will be set for delivery. Pricing and availability is still unknown. And for those of you Bond film fanatics, Skyfall  hits movie theaters November 9th, 2012.
