President Barack Obama Wins The Most Votes and Most Re-Tweeted Post of All Time

The election came to an end last night and our President will remain the same. Many were enthusiastic, some not so thrilled, but all emotions were captured in the Twitter world. Joyously, President Obama himself simply tweeted, “Four more years.” which became the most re-tweeted post of all time with over 510,000 re-tweets.

Overall, this election had a huge impact on Twitter. The political event brought in 31 million tweets making this year’s election the most tweeted about day in history thus far.
